Who Are ATA
Group Collaborative
Automated Traders Anonymous (ATA) group was originally launched as a Meetup-group in Helsinki for highly enthusiastic – we are essentially “addicted” – people interested in crypto markets and especially automated high-frequency trading principles. ATA are now seeking international collaboration. The first initiative is to allow a selected group of addicts to access the AlgoStakes (AS) platform.
The Road to High-Frequency Trading
1. Apply for Access
Anybody with good quantitative skills or motivation to learn is welcome to apply. The platform requires the use of R or Python in research scripting, and Scala in trading algorithm development. It is recommended that you gain sufficient skills in at least one of these languages.
2. Develop Algorithms
Once approved as a quant to access the platform, you may develop and backtest your own trading algorithms using the available templates, either by yourself or in teams. Data include HF L3 crypto order-book updates and related data that help you to identify patterns and signals.
3. License and Trade
After reaching a good level of historical backtesting performance and benchmarks set by others’ algorithms, you may be invited to start live intraday trading and license the algorithm, or you may decide to share it publicly at the platform to gain wider recognition.
